The Upper Yealm Fishery consists of 1km of double bank fishing near Ivybridge. The beat is divided into two distinct sections. The upper section has typical moorland features with a mix of runs, pools and shallow riffle. The lower section is more open and has 5 holding pools which provide good brown trout and benefits from a sea trout run in summer. The Yealm is a late run salmon river with salmon fishing extending into December. Permits are available from:
