Step by step instructions for a basic triggerfish fly. This pattern follows the profile of classic bonefish flies like the Gotcha or Charlie, but is tied on a heavy Owner fly liner to help cope with the triggerfish’s teeth (they’ll bite through you tiemcos). These flies also work very well for bonefish and are a good each way bet if bonefishing somewhere that has triggers in the vicinity.
