On May 13 I was invited to hit the Bow River and do a float with Brad and Max and Amelia decided to walk and wade the lower reach of our float. The day was great for the first two hours, many fish moving on streamers. As the olive hatch came on the fishing slowed. We found a riser or two smashing caddis and while the take was lost, you get a good sense of how aggressively these rainbows were smashing skittering caddis adults. It’s a lot of fun. The video is a combination of what Amelia & I both shot during our days out, independent of each other. We certainly have spent a lot of time together as our video style blends perfectly though we were 20km apart.
